FREE year of SPOT watch service...
My good friend who works on the SPOT watch team at Microsoft just told me to post this on Tribe...
She is giving away FREE 1-year subscriptions to the Microsoft SPOT watch subscription service (a $40 value). If you are not familiar with SPOT watch, please see -- www.msndirect.com
These watches make great holiday gifts. You cannot get this same free year of service anywhere else -- you have to do this through someone working on this product at Microsoft. So, if you privately send me your address, my friend will mail you a card that will include a promotional code for receiving the free service. You may hand this card to anyone, and they may in turn give the service as a gift to ANYONE (who owns a SPOT watch or who will buy a SPOT watch).
Buying the watch is a separate transaction. I recommend the nice-looking Abacus Smart Watch, which is what I use. It runs about US$129. This promotion is for US-based individuals only, since the service is not available outside the US.
The SPOT watch is seriously cool. Check it out. I personally make no profits on any of your transactions. Since this a relatively new gadget, the SPOT team just wants you to know about this and to help you (or your family or friends) dive in with this free promotion, if you're interested.

Channels on my watch?
The information you receive on your watch is organized by channel. Similar to the channels on your television set, you see different types of information—such as news, sports, movie show times in your area, stock quotes, weather—when you switch channels on your watch. You can customize the information that you see for each channel.
