Hi all,
I have a buddy with a predicament - she has an old Gateway E-4200, reconditioned...it's a PIII, 500 MHz, 128 RAM - loaded with Windows 2000 (she's been told XP would be too much for this computer) It's currently Dial-up only.
Anyone know if there's a way to make this puppy go wifi? She's moving to a place where that's the only connection she'll be able to get.
Any info at all will be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!

Sun, November 25, 2007 - 1:42 PMJust slap a Wi-Fi PCI card in there. If you don't have a PCI slot there are USB wireless adapters. Should only cost about $20.
